Super Sprint includes a 400 m swim, 10 km bike, and 2.5 km run. Sprint races are 750 m swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run. The Olympic distance features a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. Middle distance (70.3) comprises a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run, while the Full Ironman includes a 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, and 42.2 km run. However, exact distances vary by race course.

Every race has its challenges, but the Ironman 70.3 Worldchampionships in Lahti, Finland in 2023 was one of the hardest. However, it stands out for its intensity and the lessons I learned about resilience and focus.

Contrary to polular belief, I don’t do all three disciplines everyday. Preparation involves a mix of swimming, cycling, and running sessions—usually two a day. Additionally, strength training and recovery are important. Mental focus is key, as is balancing training with my studies.
